All about skin health
The skin is the largest organ of the body and accounts for about 16 percent of a person’s body weight. It is flexible, waterproof, and covers the entire outside of the body. It performs several important roles, including acts as a barrier, regulating influence between the outside environment and the controlled environment within our bodies, as well as providing assistance to the liver, kidneys, and intestines in the removal of waste.

What are the Ingredients?

Skin Dr. contains the following ingredients in our unique herbal/homeopathic formula:
- Natrium muriaticum (D6) (Nat. mur.) is a biochemic tissue salt which helps to maintain the body's water balance and is an essential component of all living cells. This tissue salt has an excellent reputation for maintaining skin health and promoting well-hydrated skin.
- Kalium muriaticum (D6) (Kali. mur.) acts as a blood and lymph cleanser, a waste eliminator, and a general skin tonic. Due to the lymph cleansing and skin soothing properties of this tissue salt, Kali. mur. can provide a sound basis for skin health.
- Kalium sulphate (D6) (Kali. sulph.) is a biochemic tissue salt that supports the distribution of oxygen throughout the body and to each individual cell and promotes health in all cell membranes. By providing essential oxygen to skin cells, Kali. sulph. effectively assists in supporting the natural healing and regenerative processes of the skin. Kali sulph. is also of great benefit in the maintenance of joint health.
- Galium aperine (Cleavers) is an herb which has been used in folk medicine for many centuries as a cleansing tonic and lymphatic cleanser and blood purifier. Regular use helps in the natural detoxification processes of the body, including the skin.
- Trifolium pratense (red clover) has a range of therapeutic benefits and is also well known as a cleansing herb for the skin. Its ability to support lymph functioning also helps to purify and detoxify the system.
- Lactose: Skin Dr. is presented in small lactose tablets. The amount of lactose used is very small and is generally well tolerated even by people who are lactose intolerant.
(Skin Dr. contains no gluten, artificial flavors, colors or preservatives.)
How do I use Skin Dr.?
DIRECTIONS
Adults: Slowly dissolve two tablets in a clean mouth two to three times daily. May be used continuously without side effects.
Babies and Small Children: Dissolve 1 - 2 tablets in a little warm water or milk twice daily.
Skin Dr. may also be dissolved in warm water and dabbed or sprayed onto the skin using a 'spritzer'. Use four tablets in 250 ml water.
CAUTION
Safety during pregnancy has not yet been established.
NOTE: Use our ClearSkin-E Cream (eczema cream) or ClearSkin-A Gel externally as a complement to internal treatment with Skin Dr. Washing skin with ClearSkin Skin Wash will also provide excellent benefits.
How long until I see results?
This differs from individual to individual, depending on many factors. However, with regular use, improvement is often noted within 3 - 5 weeks or sooner.
How long will a bottle last?
One bottle of Skin Dr. contains 125 tablets and will last for approximately one month, depending on frequency of use.

We manufacture all our remedies in an FDA registered facility under sterile conditions to ensure that no contamination occurs.

All of our products are then manufactured according to the principles of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) ensuring the consistency, safety and effectiveness of our remedies.
Full Spectrum Method vs. 'Standardized' Extracts
You may have heard the term 'standardized' extract used in relation to herbal remedies, but do you know what this means?
Many pharmaceutical companies have begun manufacturing herbal remedies using a process of extraction whereby harsh chemicals are employed to extract the active ingredients of medicinal herbs.
You will recognize these extracts by the usage of the words 'standardized' extract on the labels. This method of manufacturing is often cited as being more scientific and able to produce a superior product with controlled and guaranteed amounts of active ingredients in each product.
Contrary to these claims, this process is not approved by the manufacturers of holistic medicines. One of the reasons is that the process of extracting so-called 'active ingredients' and isolating them from the rest of the herb is one that has resulted in an increase in side effects, as the herb in this way loses its natural ability to protect against side effects.
In addition, many manufacturers use all parts of the plants to create standardized extracts, whereas herbalists know that only certain parts of some herbs should be used.
In the case of Ginkgo Biloba, for example, it is well known that the seeds of this plant are poisonous and can cause seizures and that only the leaves should be used. Standardized extracts of Ginkgo Biloba have been associated with the risk of seizure in some trials.
The most recent example of the dangers of using this manufacturing process includes the development of liver toxicity from using Kava Kava extract, an herb which has been safely used for hundreds of years!
It must also be added that this process of extraction requires the use of harsh chemicals and solvents, traces of which are difficult to remove completely from the final product.
To us, it makes little sense for companies to go the natural route, while being unable to guarantee that their product is free of contamination with chemicals known to be harmful to health!
Unlike many so-called natural remedies manufactured according to the methods described above, at Native Remedies, we avoid standardized extracts completely and use the Full Spectrum method of extraction, which is recommended by all the authoritative Materia Medica dealing with herbal medicine.
This helps us to maintain the integrity, balance and therapeutic effect of herbs with the least risk of side effects or harm to your health!
