An itch in time …
Itching is a common sensation that can cause skin to become red, irritated and sensitive. There are many things that can cause common non-recurrent itching: irritation from household chemicals or garden plants, non-serious insect bites, dry skin and some medications.
Even certain vitamin and mineral supplements or particular foods that are ingested can be to blame. Most commonly, harmless itching is located on the arms, feet or in the groin area. This can be uncomfortable and unpleasant.
The natural way
Always wash your hands or wear gloves while gardening outside. Organic insect repellant is also a good idea, as is limiting foods that may not agree with you. - Aloe ferox is a succulent and well-known medicinal herb native to South Africa. Aloe ferox has many different uses and writings from as early as 1500BC in Ancient Egypt document its supportive uses. For centuries this herb has been used topically to support and promote skin health. European sailors routinely used the sap to promote healing when the skin was exposed to the elements, rope burns, and salt water exposure. - Urtica urens is a well-regarded choice to help support the skin and soothe common itchiness. This herb has been studied with particular attention on it’s possible ability to support the skin when outside irritants are the cause. - Hamamelis virginianum (Witchhazel) is an excellent astringent herb with anti-inflammatory properties. It can be used to support the skin in the cases of non-serious insect bites and common sunburn and grazes. Witchhazel supports routine levels of healthy bacteria in the body. This herb has been the subject of numerous studies due to its potential to support the skin while soothing common itchiness and irritation and promoting harmony. - Calendula officinalis (Marigold) is known to promote skin healing and support the body’s natural regeneration. Recent studies have investigated Marigold for it’s supportive capacity to soothe flustered skin. - Melaleuca laterifolia is also known as Tea Tree Oil and is used externally. This oil has wonderful soothing and calming properties to support skin calmness and lessen ‘angry’ skin. Numerous studies have been conducted to investigate Tea Tree Oil for its possible promotion of skin health. - Lavendula officinalis (Lavender) is a sweet-smelling essential oil that also has strong supportive properties for the skin. This oil also has soothing properties. Lavender is valued for its calming properties and is wonderful for reducing common discomfort and promoting relaxation of the spirit!
- Vit. E Oil is widely used to promote skin healing and encourage the body to resist free-radical damage. Many people use Vitamin E products topically to promote optimal skin health.
How do I use Itch Dr.?
DIRECTIONS
Cleanse with our Pure-Clenz formula and apply Itch Dr. to affected areas two to three times daily.

NOTE: May be used together with Candidate Drops when needing to support normal healthy levels of candida in the body.
How long until I see results?

All of our raw ingredients are purchased with an accompanying Certificate of Analysis. On receipt, they go into quarantine until further in-house tests are completed and released by our responsible pharmacists, ensuring that the herbs are fresh and not contaminated by any impure substances (e.g. heavy metals or bacterial infections).
3. Manufacturing
We manufacture all our remedies in an FDA registered facility under sterile conditions to ensure that no contamination occurs.
All our remedies are manufactured in-house under the supervision of our expert team and none are brought in from elsewhere. This enables us to have full control over quality and safety.
All of our products are then manufactured according to the principles of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) ensuring the consistency, safety and effectiveness of our remedies.
Full Spectrum Method vs. 'Standardized' Extracts
You may have heard the term 'standardized' extract used in relation to herbal remedies, but do you know what this means?
Many pharmaceutical companies have begun manufacturing herbal remedies using a process of extraction whereby harsh chemicals are employed to extract the active ingredients of medicinal herbs.
You will recognize these extracts by the usage of the words 'standardized' extract on the labels. This method of manufacturing is often cited as being more scientific and able to produce a superior product with controlled and guaranteed amounts of active ingredients in each product.
Contrary to these claims, this process is not approved by the manufacturers of holistic medicines. One of the reasons is that the process of extracting so-called 'active ingredients' and isolating them from the rest of the herb is one that has resulted in an increase in side effects, as the herb in this way loses its natural ability to protect against side effects.
In addition, many manufacturers use all parts of the plants to create standardized extracts, whereas herbalists know that only certain parts of some herbs should be used.
In the case of Ginkgo Biloba, for example, it is well known that the seeds of this plant are poisonous and can cause seizures and that only the leaves should be used. Standardized extracts of Ginkgo Biloba have been associated with the risk of seizure in some trials.
The most recent example of the dangers of using this manufacturing process includes the development of liver toxicity from using Kava Kava extract, an herb which has been safely used for hundreds of years!
It must also be added that this process of extraction requires the use of harsh chemicals and solvents, traces of which are difficult to remove completely from the final product.
To us, it makes little sense for companies to go the natural route, while being unable to guarantee that their product is free of contamination with chemicals known to be harmful to health!
Unlike many so-called natural remedies manufactured according to the methods described above, at Native Remedies, we avoid standardized extracts completely and use the Full Spectrum method of extraction, which is recommended by all the authoritative Materia Medica dealing with herbal medicine.
This helps us to maintain the integrity, balance and therapeutic effect of herbs with the least risk of side effects or harm to your health!
